In 2009, Beveren remembers 65 years liberation
During a meeting of the City Councils of Beveren on October 15th, 2007, the councils confirmed their full participation in the remembrance of the 65th Anniversary of the Liberation of the city.
The organization of this very special Memorial is in hands of AXIS Peace Organization Beveren, whom already started with the preparations.
The program involves several weekends in September (12 and 13, 19 and 20, 26 and 27). Climax of the festivities is on Sunday, September 13th on which day King Albert II is invited.
